Manage a range of marketing-communications services for WatchGuard Asia-Pacific including:
- Manage media-relations activities in India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, including working with affiliates to develop target media lists, localise and distribute press releases, secure and execute a variety of editorial opportunities with the media, and provide media-monitoring services.
- Manage analyst-relations activities and media interviews for both the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer with high-profile regional business and trade publications, as well as broadcast media in Singapore.
- Develop key communications messages for WatchGuard Technologies.
- Develop executive bios for all WatchGuard Technologies’ key spokespersons.
- Assist in developing WatchGuard key messages for the Asia-Pacific region.
- Provide full-day media training for ten media spokespersons across Asia-Pacific, including developing course materials with exercises and practical guides as well as hands-on, videotaped, media-role-play interviews with instant feedback and critique.
- Secure speaking opportunities including managing invitation content, developing the presentation, providing onsite logistics, and creating a lead-generation programme.
- Develop all content and provide editorial services for WatchGuard's regional customer testimonials.
- Write by-lined articles and pitch to Singapore-based media for placement.
- Submit WatchGuard products for review to Singapore-based media, including submissions to Readers Choice Awards.
- Accompany Singapore-based media to WatchGuard’s APAC Distributor Conference in 2008 for onsite interviews.
- Secure and manage media interviews in Hanoi, Vietnam for the CEO and VP of International Sales during its APAC Distributor Conference 2009 with a focus on English-speaking technology publications and dailies reaching technology and business audiences.
- Manage WatchGuard’s participation at MediaConnect’s ITJourno, including pre-event planning, dedicated onsite assistance, post-event follow up and clip monitoring.
Provide strategic project-management services related to WatchGuard's participation in CommunicAsia 2005 including:
- Contract booth space.
- Coordinate with all suppliers for the booth rental, design, construction, set up, show services, product delivery and return, booth security, insurance and supplies.
- Develop and manage the project budget.
- Manage booth-premium design and production, source booth promoters, and develop a lead-generation campaign.
- Manage the day-to-day booth activities and troubleshoot technical difficulties.
- Consolidate tradeshow leads.
- Provide a post-event report.
- Coordinate payment to all third-party vendors.
Provide strategic media-relations services related to WatchGuard's participation in CommunicAsia 2006 including:
- Prepare media kits for distribution in the media centre and the WatchGuard booth.
- Pitch and secure interviews for WatchGuard’s executives throughout the show.
- Pitch and secure clippings for WatchGuard’s new products with the Singapore-based media, including the Show Daily on opening day.
